i called in sick today..
but kristina asked if i can come to work..
cos they didnt have enough staff..
she said she'll put me at dipper tickets..
and i was like..

i agreed b'cos its kristina..

i guess i wouldn have agreed..

i call in sick cos i'm having this bad cramps..
and i dun wan to rely on pain killers..
but i've got no choice..
i ate 2 pain killers at 1pm..
den ard 2pm,
i took a nap..
and woke up at 3..
to get prepared for work..

julie was at dipper control board..
when i went to initial my break..
she was asking am i not feeling well..
i was like..
yah..
i'm having bad cramps..
and i took pain killers..
her eyes lit up..
and was saying..
it will be good,
if she had some pain killers now..
and i took out 2 packets of pain killer..
and gave it to her..
i took 3 packets of pain killers frm the nurse,
before i came to work..

there is this huge mess outside tix station..
and i page 01 for cleaner like 2 times..
den i page 7067 for cleaner for 2 times..
and NO ONE came..
wtf!
and everyone is complaining to me..
its not as if i'm shaking my leg and doing nothing..
i cant possibly check height..
check wristband..
check tickets..
AND GO CLEAR UP THE MESS!
these people are really stupid..
why must they buy food before going on rides?
are they dumb or wad?
arghh!
they pissed me off..

2 and a half weeks here!
i'm so home-sick uh..
i guess,
its the many factors tt makes me feel this way...

boardwalk schedule is out..
and..
i'm working 6 days next week..
5 days on closing..
wed i'm doing opening..
i'm having off on mon..
but on mon..
i'm working for marini's at 5..
many people are leaving..
and i'm getting more hours..
more hours = more money!!

i'm need to start thinking..
what i'm going to do before work on mon..
and after work on wed..
muahahaa..

on thurs,
i manage to go gilroy..
omg..
its heaven there uh..
lols..
things are cheap..
and there's sooooo many stuff over there..
i saw quite a lot of things i like..
but i didnt get them all..

i saw this tote at nike..
i like e maroon one..
i think its 39.99 or something de..
den i think there's a 15% discount...
but end up..

i got a duffel with wheels..
one normal duffels..
2 tanks top from gap..
lots of cards from paper factory..

after much thinking..
i decided to get it for myself..
when i cash it,

so i went to e sales lady..

and e lady told me..

i frown at her..
she's kind of pleading..
and within 5 seconds..

i let her in.

i just let her..
and i knew..
there are possibilities..
she wun come back..

after letting her in..

merry-go-round is quite ok..
i'm there only for awhile..
den i was rotated to speedway by kevin..
kids are really...
ARGH!

one kid got her hands slammed by the gates..
due to my negliance..
i was busy handling other kids..
and there is this other kid slam the gate without looking..
and tt poor girl got her hands slammed by the gates..
she cried out loud when she went to her parents..

her parents assured me tt she's fine..
and tt girl went on the ride again!

one kid bang her ear against the cars..
cos she wasnt holding..
letting her hands off..

and it was all red..

finally i get to go dipper..
lead was carlos..
he dropped train twice..
tt sad look on his face was..

went shopping at capitola..
bought alot of stuffs!

went out to have dinner with our colleagues,
julie and kevin..
they are one of the nicest leads ard..
they bring us to a jap restaurant ard capitola..
the food and atmosphere are nice..
actually its not too x..
but we will only go when we got our pay..

we are spending too much!

its cool working at marini's..
the ppl are quite nice..
very willing to help..
i had fun grabbing candies..
so proud myself..

and i hate it..

i was rotated to sky glider 1 after my break..
my mood lifted up..
cos i met my partner..
i dunno how to spell her name though..

she is real nice..
and talks to me..
and bothers to listen to me..
when i go for 1/2hr break..
i met michelle..
and we chatted for the 1/2 hr..

went back after my 1/2..
vitaliya keep making fun of me..
she tried to be fierce..
and shoo me off to work..

and she'll come over and give me a hug..
i was stun at first..
but i think i love hugs..
whenever i give her tt crying face..
she'll come over..
and give me a big hug!

i love the hugs..

tt's where i've been for the past few days..
well..
i'm glad time pass relatively fast..

friday was boardwalk birthday.
we were called in to work at 8:45am..
for a safety meeting..
which actually means..
doing warm up..
so funny!
after warm up..
we went to e merry-go-round and cut cake.
e cake is very nice!

boardwalk 100th birthday cake!

on saturday,
they actually had fireworks!
i call-in sick..
cos i'm getting very bad cramps..
they went ahead to e beach to watch the fireworks..
i stayed at home..
i managed to watch it from my back door..
so nice!
the last time i watch fireworks..
i think is with metro peeps..
at esplanade..
tt was like years ago..
when i stil like alex..
hahahs!
those were the days.

ohya!
we planned to travel ard US after 3rd sept..
am so excited abt the planning and everything..
if nothing goes wrong..
there will be 6 of us..
me, zixue, michelle, su min and 2 of su min frens..
we will be gg..
new york
washington dc
las vegas
los angeles
florida
orlando
as well as,
san fransico
and most probably..
i'll be back in singapore later than planned..
so looking forward!

we've gotten our fixed schedule..

tt's how i felt at the very moment..
snap of fingers,
all i felt was gone the very next minute.
its jus a plain infatuation.. =)

was at speedway today..
super relax..
i took my own sweet time to load the kids..
i had so much time to daydream..
hahaa!
thinking abt the times i had in singapore..

went trader's joe and long drugs..
to get my shampoo..
body wash..
lots and lots of things.
we shop for too long..
and forget all abt the time..
when we realise.
its was almost to 9...
on our way back..
its so damm scary..
there are 2 different grp of ppl infront of us..
end up..
we walk one big round before we get home..
argh!
should not be out so late the next time round..

was checking hotels..
had to start planning our 2weeks in US..
most probably..
one week we will be staying at San Francisco..
another week..
most prolly..
we'll be gg Las Vegas and LA..

hollywood and disneyland!
was checking out the various hotels and tickets..
wow!

but i think its worth it..
i shall not spend 2k to come back this area of US..

SATURDAY - Hurricane, rotated to Gaint Dipper
went for marini's training in the morning..
it took me almost 3 hours!
but in return,
i got:
1/4lbs. of candies,
one small slice of fudge,
and 1/4lbs of taffy..
hahaa!
1/4lbs is equal to 0.25g..
if i'm not wrong..
my training starts at 9am..
i end ard 1130..

after training,
i went to buy pizza hut's breadstick..
i simply love their breadstick..
its so yummy!
especially you dip in their pasta sauce..
add cheese poweder on top..
oh my!
its heaven!

5 breadsticks = my lunch..
head home..
do my second round of laundry..
after my laundry..
i had my breadsticks and shows..
such an indugle..
=)

started work at 3pm...
was at Hurricane today..
finally!
for a change!
zi xue was trained there..
we were working together..
but i was rotated to Gaint Dipper!
AGAIN!
julie and i were saying..
they rotated me from rollar coaster(Hurricane) to rollar coaster(Gaint Dipper)..

SUNDAY - Typhoon
we went suntanning in e morning..
oh boy..
its doesn really makes much difference on me..
hmm..
anyway..
we went to take e wristband..
and we went ahead to play the rides..
we went to area 3..
took their kiddy rollar coaster..
den e wipe out..
and one more..
forget its name though..
den we head back to area 2..
took the gilder..
and hurricane!

today was having training at typhoon!
learn a new ride!
my trainer was kevin.
he's nice though..
quite detailed..
when i see him operating e ride,
oh my god!
i'm jus so scare!
this ride go 360 degree..
and it is NOT automated..
its control by ME!
and i cannot make it hang..
as it..
two sides CANNOT be parallel..
i only got 2 buttons to control this whole momentum..
its jus so scary lah...
i saw kevin do a few times before i dare to try it..

the first time i tried..
with kevin's help..
i screwed it up..
there's left and right side..
both side is suppose to turn 360, 2 times each..
i think i press e button too slow..
one of the side..
went 3 times!
kevin immediately took over..
cos i think he can see i'm really scare..
i did quite a few times under his guidance..
den i was left alone..
with my partner, si jie..

after awhile..
si jie got rotated to glider 2..
and su min came over!
so fun to work with ppl i know!
she's more experience den me in typhoon..
and guess what?
both of us screwed up the ride quite a few time..
hahaa!
but most of the time..
its stil ok!
at least.....
i didn hang the ride..
i'm so afriad i'll hang e ride..
its quite an experience to operate typhoon..
=)

wondering wad rides i'll get tml..
hopefully something decent..
i dun mind dipper..
but hope e dipper crew peeps will be nice..

my own internet will be here on my Tuesday..
but dunno if it will lags..
cos their speed is slow!!
their is only 6mpbs..
ours is 11!!
see the difference..
but i think peeps here are not the internet person..
i think they are more of parties and tvs..
unlike us..
we will die if we've got NO internet..

anyway..
before my internet come..
i actually went their downtown..
to buy some second hand books to read..
i've finish one book..
its all short stories..
now i'm starting a second book..
hopefully i can finish before my internet comess..
i've got one more book not touched yet!!

we did some shopping!
hahaa..
there is this surf shop..

its so damm cheap over here!

shall go there for more shopping when i've got my pay..
though not so soon yet..
for my first paycheck..
zi xue, su min and i..
agreed we will got get a lobster feast..
su min heard frm michelle..
the lobster are fresh and nice..
and its ard 11 usd..
before tax and everything..
but its stil so cheap as compare to Singapore..

i'm in Santa Cruz!!!

finally got time to blog liao..
i'm currently using their computers for staff..
think my internet wun be up so fast..
so upsett..

well..
i'm quite settle down with my apartment..
muahahaa..
its rather small but cozy though..

zixue and i walked ard..
and we walked ALOT..
cos there's NO taxis ard..
we dunno their bus route..
the only thing we can do is walk!!
hahaa..

i'm gg for their medical check later on..
tml i'll be having my orientation..
and most probably i'll start work the day after tml..
so looking forward..

ohya..
i do have good neighbours..
lols!

the flight is terrible though..
12 hours on that stupid small plane..

preparation i've done:
- apply for POSB Master Debit
- apply for DBS iB Secure device (token)
- apply for OUB debit mini, debit visa
- apply for OUB OTP token
- booked hotel, Travelodge, for the very first night when we reach San Francisco
- arranged shuttle from San Francisco International Airport(SFO) to our hotel
- arranged transport, Santa Cruz Airporter, from San Francsico to my workplace, SANTA CRUZ!
- sourcing for acommodations in San Francisco for last 2 weeks (3rd sept to 20 sept)..

i've done most of my shopping.. however! there are still things which we haven get yet! that's our medication!! hahas.. i guess we only left with this??

after the briefing, i’ll start my packing with zixue.. muahhaaa.. first thing we gotta get is our LUGGAGE!! we’ve looked thru many.. we decided to get it at harbour front’s BIG.. lols! they got tis umbrella brand’s luggage.. seems quite durable.. and we are getting th largest size.. i think its 28″ or 30″.. not too sure.. but.. ya.. getting the largest! for all our shopping!!!
